I will now be posting everything unedited and unfinished for the sake of not feeling bad about the "talent" that middle school me felt when writing this. I wrote this because I couldn't find a good Splatoon 2 fanfic and decided I'd do it myself, I still use that kind of motivation to write things like music now 💀 Eyyy, so i was playing Squid Splat earlier and felt inspired! She can still turf and fight and do what most inklings do, but what makes her stand out is her colors. Her colors aren't like other inklings you see in Inkopolis. Like Marie and Pearl. Her hair color is white and changes color depending on what she wants and almost always changes her hair style. She also changes eye color constantly. So sometimes no one even recognizes her. She heard of rumors of the old subway station and she's seen another inkling who's told her that he's an agent...agent 4, near what seems to be a sewer? What happens when she wanders into both paths and ends up in deeper ink than she intended to? Read the book to find out duh.... XD

Those days came, and before you could learn to appreciate them, they were gone, just like you were that fateful day you woke up away from home, just like the day you were banished to the oceans and the dangers of the planet 4546B, and just like the day you finally returned home, five long years later, to a world once familiar... In case it's not obvious, this is the rewrite to A World Once Familiar. I plan on expanding upon the main character (who I call Harbor Maria in place of Y/n L/n), Agent 3, and improve several scenes, as well as give the whole story some much-needed polish and a touch of my more modern writing.
