Romance
Brad and Ryken have a nuclear family, not odd in today's society, but what Ryken didn't bank on, was being put second to the ex-wife. And not just her, but the entire household, including their two children that they have together, are being put second to the ex and the two children they had together. She didn't have a problem with kids being put first, but when he puts her first financially and emotionally, she has to start drawing the line. Finally, with them entering marriage counseling, the counselor makes a wild suggestion that they take separate, 2 week vacations with no contact. While the counselor would not normally suggest something so out of scope, he feels there is a lot of resentments that cannot be put to rest in the presence of the other person. While each is gone letting things go, the other will be in counseling. Will they be able to find their way back to each other as man and wife and make their little family whole again, or will they end up being just another statistic? Only time, and adventure, will tell.
