Lily is happy with her life. She has a unique family that she can rely on as well as four great friends who support her - and vice versa. Sky grew up in an underground city. The whole city was in fear of a war happening, which is the reason for the life the people lived underground. The only way the people can breathe fresh oxygen is by a hole in a hidden room that leads up to the surface. The hole and the room are guarded by burly guards, and only people over the age of eighteen are allowed to leave the underground city to collect resources. Sky dislikes these arrangements, however. One day, 4 girls stumble across this through their local school gossip, determined to find more answers as to HOW the victims disappeared and WHY. Together, they will hunt for clues, and will figure out what lurks in the mysterious Ward 48, before time runs out.
