I knew there was always something special about me. I knew I was different from all the other girls. I could feel things before they actually happened, hear things nobody else could. I wasn't normal, there was just something there. In no way though, had I expected to be told that not, was I only half human, but 50% angel, and not an angel of heaven. A fallen angel, damned, yet given a second chance to make things right, to be rescued before taking the wrong turn in my life that shamed me from my existence in heaven. Who knew running away from girls would be so difficult ? It's almost impossible when you're in a school mostly made up of girls . "I'm not making friends with any girl at all or even talk to them . Can you explain every conscious move you made? Most, probably, but maybe not the most important, the ones that make you who you are, the decisions that define the person you've become. Visiting a tropical island where my narrator didn't want to go in the first place, he almost became responsible for the death of a man. A dear man. An intimate friend... almost.

I am not normal and I'll never be. I don't believe that I am special either. But that doesn't stop fate thinking that.

I learnt the hard way that wanting to be normal is just wishful thinking. More specifically when I found out who my dad really was. Then again, having a child while I was still a kid myself already sealed the deal on being anything but normal. But I was happy, for a moment. Until I was introduced to an entirely new world or worlds that I wish I wasnt apart of but now its impossible to avoid.
