Since Frigga's death and taking the Aether to Svartalfheim Loki is back on Asgard and free. He however still remains lost and confused. Can Jane Foster's friend and fellow mortal help to bring some light to Loki's darkness? Is there a way for the real Loki to resurface? Jenny's childhood was scarred by loss and abuse so much so that at the age of 16 she ran away from home to live with her friend Jane. Now after years of keeping herself to herself and avoiding any other contact wherever possible her friend has a request to make that could change everything. She now has to decide if helping Loki is worth risking uncovering her own pains that she has hidden deep for so long. What will be the consequences of that decision? Will she be able to help the God of Mischief and Lies without any more hurt, what will happen when she loses her heart to him, can there be a happy ending for either of them? This story was started thirty-five years ago but it never felt finished. However, since the release of Thor and then Thor The Dark World I decided to rediscover my childhood fantasy and update it. For weeks he tried to find an answer that didn't involve being a Jotun himself, but eventually he gave up and picked up the Casket of Ancient Winters. He found out about his heritage and went to leave, only to be stopped by someone unexpected. From there, he wound up in the Void. That was where Thanos found him.
