March 2024 edit: I am not that proud of how the first few chapters turned out and I would prefer to rewrite them some time. They are not my *best* work, but they are not that bad. Parts of it just acts like one. - It's been 7½ years since the last story. Everything is going well, perfect, if you might say- Sid has finished college and is finally getting a career started, Sydney has a small job in mechanics and is now getting along with Zuzu, and Peter exists. But something's.. off. Not off, but.. off? It's everything that Sid's worked for, they deserve this, but.. it's just off. It doesn't help that it's back. The.. feeling. It's back. It's not good. It feels worse. It'll be okay. They can do this, Sid can do this. Everyone. Will be okay. -Complete

this is the new one, don't read the one one it's bad. btw pretty much everything is the same except thanks to simon (i'm adding the nightmare critters btw), i made crafty back into a unicorn and I plan to touch on that more. also the story will just be better thought out because I'm not just making it up as I go (what i mean is i was making new plot points without making an effort for them to flow smoothly into the previous ones in the last one, which is something i won't do here since i have a timeline for the story set in my head.) I also wrote out all the unnecessary characters, so now it's just the critters + anyone important to the story (say Godfrey, Elliot, Andy etc.) with all that mumbo jumbo out of the way, i hope you enjoy the new and improved smiling critters story :D
