A hundred years after the Ultium Rebellion and the Last War, the world is still rebuilding. The two world powers are constantly at each other's throats, people are struggling to survive, and corruption thrives. Joshua and his little sister, Alma, need to escape their small lives in Legen Sanctuary and make it to Asis city. Grey finds herself pulled out of her life as a mercenary and thrown into a quest for freedom. Sin is exiled from her home, finding a friendship and home with Joshua and Alma. Their small group faces corrupt government, violent anarchists, family betrayal, and much more on their search for freedom.

She makes it her mission to search the woodlands and bring the lost tribes together. But to do that, she'll have to leave her own tribe behind... which means leaving the people she loves most in the world. The forest is rife with predators. Beasts like humans; towering beasts that prowl through the trees without care or concern for the life they might trample. Leaving might just turn out to be a suicide mission. To go through this, they may need strength that they never knew they had. Strength that they don't know how to find. Strength that is powerful enough to create a storm.
