A hundred years after the Ultium Rebellion and the Last War, the world is still rebuilding. The two world powers are constantly at each other's throats, people are struggling to survive, and corruption thrives. Joshua and his little sister, Alma, need to escape their small lives in Legen Sanctuary and make it to Asis city. Grey finds herself pulled out of her life as a mercenary and thrown into a quest for freedom. Sin is exiled from her home, finding a friendship and home with Joshua and Alma. Their small group faces corrupt government, violent anarchists, family betrayal, and much more on their search for freedom.

The Forest
Ernwood Forest is home to people living hidden from the prying eyes of humans; the Winged and their tribes. These people stand no taller than a few centimetres off the ground, meaning that things can sometimes get a little difficult... especially when humans are involved. But life isn't all bad. For the first time ever, Azure and the tribes have a human of their own protecting them from the sinister forces beyond the edge of the trees. As the months of winter roll in, nights are growing longer and snow has settled on the leafless branches. The forest is still. The only humans anyone expects to see are the few that know of the tiny people's existence. But the tribes are not alone in the forest anymore. The abductions begin. The past awakens. And a long forgotten shadow falls over the forest. Azure and the others once again find themselves having to fight to prevent their family from being ripped apart- only this time, things are different.
