Shortly after graduation, Vanessa Vedo and her best friend, Benjamin Gabriel, are sent to Sicca, Ohio. There, they are to go undercover as Cassidy and Riley Hill and spy on newly initiated agent of IMO (Intelligentia et Mors Offcium) Marcus Kellin. Their agency, AID (Agency of Infiltration & Defense) wants them to gather intel on the horrors of IMO and report back. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing. He handles the technology and security for the club. He is also tall, dark, smart, and devilish sexy. The type of man Ryder wants and maybe needs. Without any leads or evidence of the militia group ever being there or not. He is ordered to find evidence against the Sons of Silence to force the MC to cooperate. After meeting and starting to fall for Tech, he just can't seem to make he follow that order. Is he going to betray Tech?
