Tick tock
The sound of time passing by
Scritch scratch
My pen moves against the parchment of my letters
Thump thump
My heart beats as if it would fly
I love you
I encrypt in every line and every word of my letters

Maria Thornton is just a normal 14 year old girl attending high school. She's got some not so normal friends and she's crushing on one of them.

Iñigo Yates.

Now she has this hobby of writing poems about him, and for him. She has them gathered in one small notebook. Now living life in a somewhat love sick state, she's content just writing these poems and being close to him.

Helloooo wonderful human that's considering to read this book!

Please read this book! It's a mix of a story and poetry! But more on poetry I guess. It takes on the point of view of a lovesick teenage girl.

There won't be much plot to this but most of it would probably be poetry. There's also a chance that in the middle of the book, I'd start building a plot and stuff but I honestly just want this book to be filled with poems of a girl to her crush.

I hope you'll like it! Please give my book a chance!

She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?" "But you could have gotten hurt," I murmur softly, hanging my head and feeling my shoulders drop, the tension seeping from my body. "No. Stop," She cuts me off sternly but tenderly, "Don't talk like that, Reece. I'm okay, you're okay, we're okay," She speaks softly, reaching her hand up to gently brush her thumb over my cheek, just under the cut that's there. "We're okay," I repeat, taking a small step closer to her. She nods with a small smile, moving her hand down from my cheek and instead placing the palm of her hand on my chest, right over my heart. I know she can feel how fast my heart is beating. I just don't know why it's doing that. ~ Reece Carter is the bad boy of Northwood High. He smokes and he fights. He has countless tattoos covering his body. And he doesn't care about anything or anyone else. Could you fall in love with someone you never met, saw or spoke to? Sounds unlikely? *** Ella is an overworked college student whose only plan is to get through her college swiftly & proficiently. Sounds simple enough- but when she comes across a personal diary that sparks her curiosity, it is suddenly proven a little more than a speed bump. Ella is intrigued, maybe even enamored.... But definitely in denial. Hooked by the writer's endearing charm, sharp wit & beautiful penmanship, she begins an anonymous correspondence and with every confession, every single quip and joke, he wins her heart little by little while she loses herself in those letters. Even though she has a pile of college assignments demanding her time, Ella makes it her mission to search for the unknown writer. She defenestrates her logical plans & tortures herself by indulging in a nail-biting & probably a tad bit unhealthy mystery as she sets out on an expedition that would only come to an end when she finds the enigmatic scribbler. And that just might be the most terrifying project she has ever taken on. (FULL SYNOPSIS INSIDE) *************** Highest Ranks: #Prose, #Humor, #Letters,#Anonymous, #Poetic #mystery I will be honest, this book is a masterpiece. -Reader The best book of the year! -Reader Cutest book ever! #1 in Teen Fiction Blaze Ryder is everything Alaska feared. He is eyes and embraces and fallings stars, chocolate and marshmallows, the fizz on soda on the tongue. He is wind and hands and lips on your hair; he is a hundred kisses to hide the bruises, the flowers of summer blooming together. Ink and paper, the smell of old books and cornered nooks. The teens standing together, so close that their shadows merge into one, and the blood dripping from her hands to the concrete floor. It's a chaotic love story, really. * * * "And you know, some people are good at love, and some of them are good at being in love. They are two different things. Being in love is the romantic part, sex all the time, midday naps in the sheets, the jokes, the laughs, the long conversations with no pauses, overwhelming thoughts, separation, and anxiety - just the best sides of two people. But love? Love begins when the excitement starts to fade away; the stress in life sets in, the sex becomes a chore; the tears, the sadness, the arguments come into the picture. The worst sides of these two people are shown. But you know, after all that, I would still want you in my life, and I know you would want me too. So I love you, and I'm not afraid of loving you," Alaska says into the phone, pouring her heart out.
