Jemima was a lost soul, but after reuniting with her brother after nearly nine years apart, will he be able to save her or is she too far gone to be found again?
When fifteen year old Jemima looses her mother she resides herself to the fact that she will have to keep living with her step father Steve until she turns eighteen and can leave, that is until she is told that her brother Matty has custody of her and she will be moving in a matter of weeks to the other side of the world to live with him. Jemima had not seen Matty in nearly nine years after he left to live with his grandparents leaving her behind to live with her alcoholic Mather and abusive step father. Now Jemima has the chance to escape her life that has spiralled out of control to start again with her long lost brother, but can she leave her wild drinking and party days behind her, will she ever find peace or will she always be haunted by her tortured past, will Matty be able to find the Jemima he left behind nine years ago or is she gone for good. Matty soon learns that so many things have changed in nine years but equally learns that things can change dramatically over the course of a year, his first year back with his little sister will be a rollercoaster ride for both of them.
