A girl. All alone. Hidden and trapped. Freedom is gone. Life is a mystery. Love has vanished. Hope is everywhere but here. A girl is trapped on an island, condemned to a fate of isolation. She was put there for her safety. Or so it seems. There is something hidden inside that girl. Something so dangerous and wonderful that it threatens to overwhelm the very vessel that contains it. And it would, but for the tight lid that keeps it enclosed. Keeps it away from its source. If that thing of such great power could be allowed to see the light, to draw fresh breath and escape its case, then maybe hope could return once more. Maybe freedom could be tasted again. Love would be life, and life would be open, full, and welcoming. And isolation would turn to dust. But the girl knows not of this, only of the emptiness that is starting to consume her hope, and soon, her only way out. Will she be freed? Or will the emptiness inside of her overpower her, trapping her forever.

⊱ ━━━━.⋅ εïз ⋅.━━━━ ⊰ "What's that?" she reached up for him, his face in her palm as she examined whatever was there. She pressed on it, and it kind of stung. "Did that hurt?" "Not really," he muttered. "Are you sure?" and he nodded. "It looks a bit swollen. It might've come from when you hit the ground or, something... I don't even know. It's just a small bruise, though, so I guess it's okay?" "Thanks, Doctor," he teased, and she pouted, the warmth of her skin leaving as she settled back into her seat. "How is it my fault you like to fight?" She crossed her arms in front of her chest, and he fully leaned in. His hand was no longer on the edge of the back cushions; rather, it had moved to her thigh. "How is it my fault you look good tonight?" he whispered in her ear. "Girls like you make me love to fight." ⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡ After leaving his short-term relationship with his next-door neighbour, Grey scrambles to find the remaining pieces of the largest puzzle that he was born into: his life- only to trample over a tiny, tiny thing.
