However, this ship wasn't just a thing Tyrone Phil Rhodes wanted to be on. It was the ship he needed to be on, to get a better life. A better life for him and his mother, Sarah Rhodes. Their hopes were to get back to America to live a better life. After his mother got a job working as a maid. They both were able to get on this amazing ship. However, Tyrone would not have a suspected that just in the span of four days's that he would find an amazing group of friends which he would call family. A family which excepted him for him. Not just because of his skin color. Though those four amazing days would soon come to an end as this amazing "unsinkable" ship would stand to prove everyone wrong.

Growing up in a large, middle-class (if not lower) family had its challenges. More than I can account for actually. I had five older sisters and two older brothers. Throw me into the mix and that's a grand total of eight children living under one roof. If my mom hadn't stopped with yours truly, we would have definitely been able to form an entire soccer team with just our family alone. I can't recall much of my childhood and exactly how I interacted with each and every one of my siblings, but I can assure you that it was nowhere near a nice walk through the park.
