An extremely intelligent man came of James Shaddow. Smartness though was overshadowed in him by darkness. Suddenly happiness was found in the shape of a younger brother. Everything turned upside down after a year. James' brother was killed by a werewolf. His dark, foreboding, lonely attitude returned stronger than ever. For days he would sit and read, mainly educational books, only because his brain was the only thing he could trust. Although he was a quiet boy, James had a hidden courage. This finally could be seen when he was able to join the police force. But Inspector Shaddow, as he became, had a dark secret. He is a vampire. He would kill werewolves, vengence in his mind. James had the perfect cover. Who would suspect the policeman who was investigating the killing the next day?

Chp. 4 Preview: She was able to see what the paper had on it immediately after taking it from the shelf, and it made her heart immediately drop. Her blood sugar fell, and her face became pale, feeling dizzy. Her heart began racing as she saw me staring at her. The drawing she just found was a realistic depiction of myself smiling at the person who saw it. Unlike myself, who felt joy and inspiration from seeing father draw me this, mother was scared witless. Her legs became jelly, her body was paralyzed. All she could do was stare at the drawing, knowing that no one could have drawn this except an adult. And she knew I did not talk to any adults- or did I? Now she couldn't be too sure. He was beautiful with his gleaming coat and strong legs. The black wolf left Liam on the ground and fiercely killed all of Liam's minions easily. He wasn't finished with his prowl, he turned back to face Liam but realized that the pureblooded vampire had already run off. Then I hear a deep growl.
