I was casually driving and looking around a bit when suddenly, I saw the guy I was destined to be with. My grey eyes locked with his blue ones as I drove past my mate.. Now, don't ask why I did that. First of all, I would crash if stopped then and there and he wouldn't be very happy if I died straight after I just met, well, saw him. Second of all, I bet I was gonna see him again anyway. And last, but not least, I didn't want to be with my mate just yet..

I was too focused on his eyes through my tear-filled gaze. "Did someone do this to you?" His voice had an edge of hardness to it now, like a diamond with a sharp edge. I could only nod. He fell silent for a few seconds, letting the swelling rain be the only sound between us, before he reached out slowly and scooped me into his arms and lifted me up easily. "Don't be afraid, okay?
