We all have things that other people don't, our own secrets or things kept from people:

Ino is called the embarrassment to her clan.
Choji is bullied about his weight.
Shikamaru has family issues.
Shino is casted away or forgotten even by his own clan.
Kiba is discriminated by his own clan.
Hinata has been outcasted by her father and the clan elders.
Lee is neglected by his own parents.

Sasuke is mentally unstable.
Sakura is mentally and physically abused daily by her own parents.
Naruto is the exact definition of a secret.

But one day, someone appears. Someone who could change everything.
