9 years. 9 year those God forsaken tablets worked and as much as Freed hated them, he would do anything for them to start working again. 

What the hell was he going to do. There is no way he could face the guild never mind the rest of the thunder legion. What would they say? What would laxus say?

(Disclaimer: I am in no way saying being trans is bad, some of my best freinds are trans and I am so proud of how brave and amazing they are, I just thought this might be a good story element.
