The Earl's Retreat

Christian, Earl of Amberly, has suffered for the last several years through a less than savory arranged marriage. After the death of his wife during childbirth, he decides to take his household and retreat to Amberly Hall. Though he is in mourning, the idea of an eligible Earl is too much for the ladies of the Ton to pass by and his manor is overrun by mothers and daughters looking for a husband. Emma traveled to London with her infant son to visit her mother in the Earl of Amberly's townhouse when she learns of her husband's death in the war.
