Ally Heinz has just turned eighteen and has finally moved out from her parents' house and  recently moved in with her brother. She doesn't have a job so he suggests to have her apply for the company he works for as personal assistant for his boss. Her brother is a photographer and his boss is a stubborn bachelor who has inherited his father's company that he is trying to save from going down. Everyone has already assumed who he is as a person who has never had to struggle or anything of that sort. But he did and always had to live in his father's shadow. Now that he's heard recently that he has to have a new idea for the magazine that will change the look and bring it up to date so that he doesn't disappoint his father. Then he meets Ally and as bad as he wants her, he knows he can't have her. At least that's what he tries to convince himself. Especially when he has a dark secret that could affect not just him and the company, but her as well.
