"Grindelwald?!" I quickly get back up and I dash for an exit. Pulling on the door it won't open all of a sudden! There are no windows! Only a locked door and lights! I turn left then right then left then right. This is it, I'm going to die here! He silently got to his feet and slowly strut over to me as I back away up to a wall. A lump in my throat refuses to shift anywhere. I can't speak.

"Ron, wait." I say walking past Fred and George and grabbing his arm. Ron whips his head back around, yanking his arm from my hand with so much force it causes me to stumble forward. "Do not touch me." Ron spits out, glaring at me, face red as he takes a step back. "Ron, can't we talk. This doesn't have to be the end of the world." I say trying to reason with him. Taking a step closer to him, but he continues to step away from me. "End of the world! Lily, you were sorted in Slytherin! Slytherin! I-i don't even know you anymore." Ron yells. Not giving me another moment he goes to the painting whispering the Gryffindor common room password and walking in, slamming the painting shut. Fred and George look between each other before going up to the door, giving me an apologetic tap on the head and muttering something about killing Ron before following him back into the Gryffindor common room. My heart shattering as the painting shuts behind them, shutting me out of their life. A/N This is the rewritten story of My Choice, I started it back in like 2022, but never finished. after learning all about writing, I have come back to it. I'm very excited to give you this new story, with new plot and a new tone. WARNINGS: This is more age accurate and time accurate. It will be more mature and unlike the book and the movies which are kid friendly. This story will NOT be kid friendly. For any trigger warnings I'll add at the beginning of a chapter or here in the description as I find them while rewriting or as they get added in. Remember that with this story it is a young girl getting outcasted by her family in a time of war. Also, she is not the hero! Just so everyone knows to begin with. I force myself to unlock the door and once it swings open, I spend no time watching the look of bafflement on his face. I brush right past him and sit myself down onto the bed, my eyes are glued to the rain racing down the panes. He walks over to where I'm sitting, steadily, and stands over me. Studying me. Inspecting the dried patches on my face and the blood on my knuckles from picking at my skin. I can't bare to watch. Finally, I glance up at him and our eyes are locked within each other's. His head tilts to the side and the paleness of his eyes continue examining me. "What are you doing to yourself?" Are the next words that have no hesitation flying out of his mouth. It makes me so angry that he assumes I've been the one behind this. "You did this to me." I had meant to sound strong and convincing, but it had turned only into a timid whisper.
