In the world of Xeros where a great evil that nearly destroyed the land was defeated. The remains of the races and kingdoms are scattered about living in relative harmony besides border flags between a select few. 
     What was to happen if a village of the most powerful kingdom was destroyed? Who would be blamed for the attack and who is the one truly responsible? Could evil be on the rise once more? And if so who would be the ones to beat it back once more? What would it take to unite the land to face a common foe? 
     This is the first of several tales to arise in the lands of Xeros, the tale of the Scared Keys.
