Brielle and Nick meet at a boarding school in Maryland called the Baltimore Academy of the Arts, or BAA. They soon become a couple and are completely mad for each other. Their love couldn't be more perfect, but they both have fairly complicated and elaborate lives. Nick's parents are divorced, causing him to constantly move from his father's home in England and his mother's in Maryland. Brielle has also had her fair share of problems as well. Having to go through unbearable amounts of bullying, with only her friend Lauren, who has a serious case of Anxiety and OCD, as a supporter and peer. She has found many ways to cope and contain herself for when Nick is gone, but this time is unlike any other. Charles, who is Nick's father has him to stay for two years, and since Nick is now 16, he is able to choose which parent receives full custody. He now has to pick between the high-end life in England with his wealthy dad and many options of fabulous schools and colleges, or with his mother in Maryland, who lives in a middle-classed home. Will he make the right choice and still get to keep her? Or will his life and relationship both tear open by the seams?
