Thinking it was a dream I sucked in a large amount of salt water, then choked and spat it out before realizing how silly that was. Then I realized I could breathe in water instead of air. I heard a noise behind me and spun around, breathing in sharply. Stars! She's gorgeous! --- Seaweed's life should be simple. Dance with humans at night, follow ships as a siren in the day. But Seaweed's travels take a rocky turn when she's taken prisoner by Englishmen while fighting a mer. She discovers that she is not the perfect creature she believed herself to be, but rather an abomination to every race. Read to find out what happens next.

However, as she tries to make a trip there to clear her head, a strong wind drags her away into the sea. There, she runs into half human and half fish creatures that try to take her ship down. She flees but finds herself in the territory of something worse than the ones chasing her. He has lived a very long time and hates humanity. Can he accept his human mate?
