Come Back to Me

Starts in September of 2002

It's typical for two teens to fall in love while still in High School. That how it went for Jessica Beckmann and Liam Thaxton anyways.

Jess has always thought Liam was incredibly attractive but he was wayyy out of her league. Little does she know, Liam has always felt the same way. Eventually they realize they were meant to be together and they didn't think they would fall in love as hard as they did. Soon, they're going to graduate.

Liam enlists in the army because he sees no bright future ahead of him and has no idea what to do. Jessica, on the other hand, applies to go to college and she begs Liam to stay, she doesn't want to lose him.

Soon enough, Liam gets drafted and deployed in Afghanistan. Jessica is ravaged by emotions she never thought she'd have to deal with and she doesn't think her heart will be able to stand losing the one man she's ever loved. Liam promises to come back and take care of her and they'll grow old together but will their love really be enough to survive the hardship and tumult of war?

Through their relationship they have to deal with their own emotional problems and deteriorating mental states. Through problems with bullying, abuse, and peer pressure, they only find comfort in each other.

Liam is the love of Jessica's life, she can't imagine life with anyone else. Though they haven't been together long, she knows Liam is her soulmate. To lose him, would be to lose a part of her soul.
