In a dystopian future, all graduates are divided into trials based on their academic and behavioral performances in school. Most are placed into the A, B, or C trials. But some elite few are accepted to the infamous Taylor Trials. A rigorous performance examination to train students for the highest of skill jobs. When Malchara Vince is accepted to the trials, her small, simple life gets flipped inside-out, and she's now the underdog in a group of the greatest young minds of her age. You chirp, spinning on your heel. "Hey, that was cool." His eyebrows raise in slight surprise, now letting reality sink in that you are actually his girl. And this is what he has to deal with. "Wow, you really are hyper today." "You said it!" You grin. You feel so much energy going through you after good nights of sleep, well. Goodnights as best as you can get. "Here, take this." He hands you something and you start turning it in your hand almost immediately after receiving it. Looking down at it curiously to see some sort of wooden turn. It's kind of like the door handles, or a rower for a fishing rod. Except it's only the handle for a fishing rod. No rod or line. So it's basically just a fidgety piece of wood. You start turning both sides, spinning it around in your hand. "Easy there." Gally chuckles. He steps closer to you, rubbing his arm up and down your back to soothe you. "You doing okay?" "Yep." You chirp, grinning up at him. He double-checks your expression. His eye staring into yours to see how you're feeling. When he's sure you're not too stressed out, he removes his arm from you and throws a rag over his shoulder. "Okay, stick by me. Ya hyper little bunny..." She wakes up in a cage cold and confused. She refuses to show any weakness in this strange new place; she shoves everything down, deep down behind a mask of indifference snippy remarks and a few right hooks. She wont let these new and strange boys see her cry, she wont show them any signs of weakness. She can't, she's the only girl and she needs to be tough. It's the only way to survive this harsh new world she finds herself in. Being tough and ruthless catches the attention of one particular builder. He's not one for emotions either, especially in a place like the Glade. He knows something is off, and he does his absolute best to keep order around him and in him, when everything's falls apart. Emi, first girl the Glade has seen. Tougher than she looks and more than ready to prove it. Since day one her and Gally have been at each other's throats. Fighting constantly and not just with their words. (Gally fanfiction which will include smut. It also has an actual story line. Think of it as an AU to the original Maze Runner. It'll mostly follow the main story line with some changes. Mostly focusing on Emi and Gally and their relationship.) ___ I did the stupidest thing and glanced towards the leader's voice. Next thing I know I was tackled to the ground with a steaming Gally on top of me. He went for my face but it was easy enough for me to block him. I had to struggle a little to fix myself enough to roll us. Once I got myself in just the right angle while blocking Gally's random throws I pushed him off me. His hands held tightly on my shirt pulling me with him. We hit a slight slope perfectly causing us to roll a few times. I made sure that when we stopped I was on top. Gally groaned when his head roughly hit the ground.

(This is the 2nd part to my other story "The Maze trials: A Gally Fanfiction". This will cover the events of the scorch trails and the death cure.) --- Emi, her twin brother Thomas, and a small group of gladers had been rescued and taken to a safe haven. Or so it seemed. It doesn't take long for Thomas to realize something is wrong. What happens next is a true trial for all of them but Emi's trials began the moment she was ripped away from a dying Gally. Watching someone you love die right before your eyes truly takes a toll. Finally meeting the right arm could have been the end but betrayal leads to even more chaos and loss. A new mission to rescue those taken from them leads them to a city. The last city. After Emi finally comes to terms with everything that's happened something unfolds that changes everything again. She will have to not only deal with helping her brother take down WCKD and save their friend but also deal with all the new problems in her head and her heart.
