Daughter of Mars

She was born amongst the dead on a desrted battlefield. Unaware of her surroundings, and unaware of what she had lost, she peacefully slept in her deceased mother's arms. If not for the Mercy of Juno, she would have died that day with her mother. Born on a battlefield blessed by the God of War, Mars was forced to take her as his mortal daughter. She was born to man, blessed by the gods, and to be raised by the champion of war. What was to become of her? The human baby given the name, Proserpina.
