Elliot has never been the same after her mother’s death, which was due to a fatal car accident. From being spontaneous, lively and vivacious, she has become the complete opposite, and become all things a teenager should never choose to be:

1.            Unsocial

2.            Unproductive

3.            Tedious

And it has been engraved to Elliot’s mind that she’ll be like that forever—it’s hard to become the same person after losing someone, who was one of the people who formed you as a person and has been there for you since forever. There was definitely no going back to who she was.

Enter Luke. He’s impulsive, reckless and, if you’ll want a simpler term, this is what he is: a wild child. Besides being the stereotypical high school wild child, he’s also best friends with his complete opposite: Elliot.

//

Quickly noticing Elliot’s evident change of personality and attitude, Luke, being the brilliant best friend he is, has a mission to change back Elliot to who she truly is, and she is this: a wild child, just like him.
