"Friendship is not about who you've known from the longest or who you hang out with, it's about who walked into your life, said 'Hey, I'm here for you' and proved it. My friends proved it."

Everyone has secrets and Julie has one that has been eating her alive.
She tried to run from the guilt for years but the past comes haunting her new life.
When her best friend exchanged her for the school's bad crew the little peace she had is lost. Awful and dangerous rumors surround Micah's "new friends", but what can she do when he doesn't even look at her anymore?

Simple, she'll do the only Julie-thing to do: cut through everything like steel scissors and force him to face her. Even if that means threatening the guys that look like they could snap her neck, even if that means coming clean.

Nick is a solid rock who would rather keep to himself and throw punches than let people in. People tend to leave anyway. But when a hurricane name Julie comes whirling into his fortress there's little he can do.

Julie Page wasn't dumb. At least, not Before. In the Before, Julie was the one who kept the books for her family business, the one with good grades, the one with smart, overachieving friends. She was not the girl who fell prey to a multi-level marketing scheme, that was for sure. At least, not Before. But now, in the summer following high school graduation, Julie was living in the After. After her mother died. After she got dumped by Bryce the Great. After she locked eyes with Sheridan Highgate, the popular girl with a matching workout set and six jobs and nothing but joy in her empty, bright eyes. The girl swimming in the cotton candy pool of her ever-present water bottle. The girl Julie would never, ever be caught dead with. At least, not Before. When Sheridan takes Julie under her wing in the weirdest, saddest summer of her life, the world around her opens in a new way. A way that leads to parties filled with skinny girls with colorful "health" drinks, skeevy sales tactics, and a surprising darkness that forces Julie to face the deepest, most untouched parts of herself. In this darkly comedic young adult novel, Julie finds herself under the spell of the beautiful people -- the Diamond Girls -- and enchanted by the shattering of broken glass that makes up their mosaic. As she falls deeper into the chaotic and enigmatic world of "Diamondesq," a brand of questionable health drinks and their various accoutrements, Julie learns that no one is who they seem to be -- not Sheridan, not Bryce the Great, not her mother. Not even herself. [60K Words / Completed ]

(FINISHED WRITING, BEING REVISED!) An only child, by the name of Nathaniel, has a very unfortunate life. Unpopular, bullied, and outcasted by everyone at school; even his own parents didn't want him! He's miserable... At least that was until his eighteenth birthday where he has the most bizarre encounter. A break-in at his own home from an organization that holds a secret from the entire world! Now, he attempts to find his life's purpose, coming across many friends as well as enemies, many obstacles, great pain, deep love, and important life lessons. It's up to him to decide whether or not he's the one in control of his own life. !!!CAUTION!!! IF YOU ARE ONE TO READ BOOKS BY THE LAST CHAPTER TO SEE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, CHAPTERS TOWARD THE END OF THIS BOOK CONTAIN HUGE SPOILERS THAT MAY RUIN OR ALTER THE DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND ENJOYMENT AND IF YOU STILL WISH TO READ THE LAST CHAPTER I SUGGEST CHAPTER 53! Info of my writing style and this book: • This book is written from the first-person point of view. Everything he thinks about; everything you read, will be the exact moment of everything that's happening. When Nathaniel gets cut off and interrupted, his thoughts will be interrupted as well. • I'll put seven periods to indicate a change in the scene; to show that time has passed since the last scene. • Bolded names are important characters to Nathaniel and the story • This book contains vulgar and sometimes erotic descriptive language. • This book is targeted toward a young adult audience.

"Following her parent's divorce, everything in Makayla Summers's life seems to fall out of place. When her happy-go-lucky father decides to move to Philadelphia, it's just the beginning of the worst. Or so she believes. Starting afresh in a new high school for senior year, she discovers a wasteland of overly cocky idiots, and makes the unfortunate mistake of attracting the attention of the three most popular ones. Thus begins her journey down insanity-road. Will she find love and friendship in the company of the dangerously idiotic trio? Or perhaps even make enemies down the road? Who knows? At this point, all Makayla can do is strap herself down for a year that's far from your typical teenage scene. And she would very much appreciate if you would join her for the ride as she sets step into the world of the Sparkle Toofus." /Damien/ "Has the Queen finally accepted defeat and withdrawn to the help of the Knight?" Snorting, I rolled my eyes. ";You can't give yourself such a high title like that. If anything, you're just the stable boy." Grinning still, he moved closer to me, whispering into my ear, "Except this one will get the girl." /Leo/ "Do you really think," he spoke, his breath tickling the side of my face, "that that's all you mean to me?" Leo let out his breath, sighing, and before I could react, I felt his forehead come down on my shoulder, snuggling against the crook of my neck. "You're an idiot for not knowing it." /Nick/ "Don't start getting all cuckoo on me. I'm the good guy." I stopped in my tracks on the middle of the side-walk and stared at Nick. "Are you single?" That stupid grin that most cocky guys considered to be flirty made its way to his face. "Don't you be getting any hopes, honey," he whispered in a sultry voice that made me want to slap him. Inside, I was secretly relieved. I was one less of a boy who would hit on me. #79 in Teen Fic 11/5/16

Lunch went by pretty quickly, and we were back to classes soon enough. I'd forgotten to get a book from my locker, so I quickly went to get it. I was leaning on the locker next to mine as I quickly scanned my schedule on my locker door, when warm air fanned the side of my face. "Move." Being the excellent human being I am, I jumped out of fright, flinging the heavy calculus textbook in my hand backwards. I heard a grunt and turned to find the person behind me now hunched over as they held onto a part of their face. "Oh God! I'm so sorry!" I panicked. And then he looked up. The first thing I noticed was his short, dark hair. It looked so smooth, and I almost reached out to play with it. My eyes trailed down to his strong jaw line, down to his broad shoulders. I didn't even realize that I was biting my lip as I further inspected the Adonis before me. His arm flexed, bringing my attention to the amber eye he was now covering. It was him. Six. The most popular and dangerous guy in school. And I'd managed to injure him with my calculus textbook. I'm dead. *********** #11 Teen Fiction - 31 December 2015 #15 Teen Fiction - 16 December 2015 #16 Teen Fiction - 16 December 2015
