Evening Star

Allow me to tell you a story. This is unlike any you have probably heard, or read, before. But be warned, once you begin, you may not be able to escape as you are sucked into the battle of the century. The battle of not only classical good and evil, but also of nature and heart. A battle of a person's, or creature's, origins and substance.

The setting is in an alternate dimension, where the world is corrupted by the monsters of the night, who can wear the guise of a trusted friend or special relative. Day is the only sanctuary, for their sun burns away the masks and their true form is reveled. This true form is called a name you have heard before more than likely. They call these tricksters daemons.They appeared after December 21, 2012, the day of the Great Apocalypse.

Despite the grim look of chaos, there is a sort of hierarchy among the daemons. The topmost tier is their leader, Qebehsenuef. He orders the next tier, the Recleau, or Elite. They steal souls to sustain him and give him power. these daemons can be the most human like and are bestowed with the power to steal a soul if the human gives them their heart. They then keep the souls until they deliver them to Qebehsenuef every equinox and solstice, four times a year every year.

Below the Elite are various daemonesses in a class called the Daemonium.This class is where some of the original daemoness reside after rearing the next generation. Underneath them is the Argentum. Their main job is scouting for one of the Elite's next targets. In the bottom tier is the Dente and Lupin, more commonly referred to as vampires or werewolves.

The world's powers are hung as fragile as a spiders web. However, one of the class's most powerful weapon will become his downfall. This is how a daemon and a human girl changed the world and, possibly, the fate of the universe.
