Noelani Brimland is an independent 22-year-old and lived a life most people would be jealous of. She had it all, money, respect, and a good career. Her job is slowly declining as times passes, tragedy strikes, and her boyfriend leaves her for her roommate. It didn't take much tempting to go on a boat tour with her best friend to Canvey Island.
From a tranquil ferry ride to being kidnapped by Peter Pan and his crew turns Noelani's world upside down. Meanwhile, her friend is stuck hostage with the Lost Boys, and Noelani finds herself stranded with Captain Hook who seem to have a knack for pushing her buttons. Despairing for her only friend, she strikes a deal. But as she dives deeply into the fabled world of Neverland, where age is flexible, she questions the motives of those around her and her origins when she finds scales and tails.
James Hook isn't a fiend, Peter Pan isn't your good boy, Tinker Bell has some dark secrets and no one wants to speak about Wendy Darling. An urban fantasy that will leave you starving for more, this twist on Peter Pan's story will leave you in the deep end.

In which a boy who thinks he controls everything meets the girl who actually does. --- Peter Pan is king of Neverland, a mystical island of his own creation. His Lost Boys serve as his troops and have been his only company for the last millennium. Until his shadow brought a girl to Neverland, by the name of Wendy Darling. But she's not the one this story's about. Why? It's simple. Because she's dead. She broke Peter's heart, so he killed her. Only he and the Lost Boys know what happened the night Wendy disappeared, and Peter means to take the secret to his grave, assuming he ever dies, of course. If the Lost Boys know what's good for them, they will too. None of the other creatures on the island have any idea of what became of the one girl who had ever set foot on Neverland. However, what at first seems to be a siren with a know-it-all attitude threatens to change all that. She knows exactly why Peter's heart is shattered. But what she wants to do with that information is, for the very first time, is absolutely unclear to Peter. That doesn't sit well with the Ruler of Neverland. And whatever doesn't sit well with Peter, he either figures it out or kills it. Ashlyn Pendragon has had a perfect life since the day she was born. She's been schooled in her Princess duties as the future queen of Camelot. Hiding the bean she runs over to her window and whispers the words where she is taken by the shadow to Neverland and drops her in the ocean where she has to swim before reaching the beach where she falls asleep. Upon waking she becomes face to face with a mysterious boy who claims to be the one and only Peter Pan who she finds out is nothing like the story and is indeed cruel, manipulative, and most of all a trickster. Ashlyn will be on the ride of her life as she uncovers all the secrets of Neverland. Can she get back to her kingdom? Will Peter let her leave?
