Evelyn Crespo is a normal outcasted teenager in high school. Too many body piercings, tattoos everywhere, and a drug addiction. At home, she is abused by her father everyday, broken and beaten, trying her best to give her younger brother and sister a better life.
Jaymes Steele, best friends with Alec, is the classic bad boy in high school that girls freak out about. When he notices Evelyn at one of his parties, emotions and feelings reappear from long ago. He wants to be with her all the time, and know everything there is to know about her.
But when Evelyn realizes Jay for who he is, to what lengths would she go to hide her secret life from him? How can she stay with him and not reveal her traumatizing, everyday, horror? How would he react if he found out?

"You do realize that I am not interested in hanging out with you, right?" I reiterated, crossing my arms across my body and leaned up against my front door. I've come up with so many ways to get him to leave me alone, but none of them succeeded. He is determined, I'll give him that.
Jay steps closer to me, looking me head on, smiling. He puts a hand on my shoulder, receiving a glare from me. He chuckles, but doesn't let go of my shoulder.
"If that were true, which we both know isn't, then you would have already went in your house and not engaged in this conversation." He gives me a smirk, thinking he had me figured out.
I quickly move his hand off of my shoulder. "I only stayed outside to make sure you leave me alone. I'm tired of this bullshit mind games. I've gone most of my life by myself and I am not going to change it for some boy who starts to notice me." I scoff under my breathe, pushing my hair out of my face.
"Now, please get off my property and leave me alone. You're not wanted." With that, I slam my front door on his face and make my way up to my room.
