While season 2 of The Dragon Prince was incredible, I was a little disappointed that Runaan wasn't in it (though I am still hopeful). But seeing Viren in that cell was not only hard to watch at times, but also 'confirm' a little head-canon on what 'would have' happened to Runaan. But anyways, there are other head-canon about Aaravos' mirror/ Aaravos' backstory, Runaan's actual age, his relation with Rayla, and how he 'knows' the Queen of the Dragons. The story was in my mind before season 2, and I hope you'll enjoy this little twist. May contains spoilers and other subjects that's not suitable to a younger audience. Reader's discretion is advised.

The Half Dragon Dragonguard
A Startouch Elf had fallen in love with an Unnamed Moon Archdragon and they had a child, a half Startouch Elf and half Dragon daughter. But thanks to the actions of Aaravos, they had to hide their child, using a stasis spell to keep their daughter alive so that at least one of them could get her and they leave a necklace with her name on the back of it Astraea. But due to the actions of Aaravos, the parents were killed in the crossfire and the stasis spell lasted for centuries until it finally wore off and the Skymage Ibis found her, taking her to the Stormspire, where she was taken in by the Royal Family to be a new member of the Dragonguard to protect and advise the Dragon Prince when the time comes for him to become the next Dragon King. But Viren's attack changes everything and the next thing that Astraea knew she was trapped in a cage in the Dark Mage's hidden room and the citizens of Xadia believe she and the Dragon Prince are dead and she believes she will never see her homeland again. Everyone had just made it safe out of rex's lair, Rayla got her Runaaan and parents back and Callum had just told her he was glad she was back. The gang now has to find a new way to find where Aaravos is imprisoned while doing this Rayla and Callum decided to give their Relationship another try. This all accrues after season 4 right after we see them last Rayllum won't be a slow burn but I'll try my best not to rush it either. and I won't make it so they find Aaravos prison cuz I don't want to mess up any of my hopes or the idea for the future seasons.
