Emmaline hadn't thought about Tyler in years, moving away and making new friends, Cheren and Bianca. When he walks back into her life, she doesn't know whether to be overjoyed, or worried. After she had left, Tyler had become a rebel, using Pokemon and abusing them. Then, when she sets off on her Pokemon journey, she meets a strange guy named N. He says strange things, talks to Pokemon, and acts very weird towards Emmaline. When she starts to develope feelings for him, will she be able to let Tyler know, or will she keep trying to help him, even if it means lying to him about N. What will Cheren and Bianca do when they find out, and will they ever tell Emmaline that they kissed?
