"Trust me, you don't wanna be with me," he said as he looked at me, his face unemotional.
"But why?" I asked as I stared straight back at him, my face full of confusion.
"Because," he started, "I'm full of bad luck, and knowing my relationships in the past, you're just gonna end up getting hurt."
My frown turned into a wide grin and he looked at me weirdly. "But I don't care," I started, and grabbed his hands, "because this time, you have a bit of good luck on your side."

Elizabeth Dee is the younger sister of Matt Dee, a Bondi Lifeguard. She just got back from the World Surfing Championships with Nicola Atherton and decided to surprise her brother at the Lifeguard trials (with the help of Nicola of course).
