That is, until he sneaks aboard a mysterious island trudging through the lands on long metallic legs, encountering a mysterious young mage. First held captive, but now hitching a ride, Michael travels with the strange assortment of people crowded within a moving island. However, when Rohit becomes consumed by his newfound power and fame, he faces a powerful foe who defeats him in battle. The story takes a twist as Rohit learns a valuable lesson about the true meaning of heroism.

Eight teens fresh out of college go on vacation to celebrate their graduation. They decide to go a place called Blizzard Bay. But this place had a dark secret. Despite there being a beach and the theme park, deep in the northern mountains region where the blizzard is heaviest dwells a tiger. When on all fours, the tiger stood seven feet tall. When on it's hind legs, the tigers height doubles. Every now and then the tiger descends to lower parts of the mountain. It takes him three days to reach the lower part of the mountain. The group of teens planned to stay there a month. The exact month the fierce tiger descends. The group meets up at the airport with their share of the money for the tickets. That's where the story begins.

And then they became friends which it's more interesting that you're friends with a talking animal and more awesome...so yea? Anyways. When he gets lost though, he discovers that he has powers he never knew he had. He also makes unexpected friends who train and teach him the ways of the wild, about the gods and goddesses of the Mixed-Soul culture, and about their magic filled world. But something pretty bad happens, and Michael and his friends have to go on a journey he never could have imagined himself going into.

Dimitri was later move in to a boat and ended up years later in California at Santa Cruz beach and that's when his best friend abandoned him to enjoy the time of his live. There he meets his love interest and his new best friends.
