I and every other 16 year old girl gets their name put in a book and then a special group of 10 girls is chosen by the king and queen . The girls who get chosen never come back from the palace and those who arent get sent to a special school in order to become one of three options : a maid , the lowest , a lady in waiting , the middle , or a royal adviser the hardest of them all to achieve .
