Lance was nine years old when he was in a major car accident. His injuries were extensive and he was put into a medically-induced coma. When he woke up, he recovered fully and returned home. "I love you." He stammered, voice breaking between sobs. "I love you, Keith. So much." Keith's heart skipped a beat, or maybe blatantly stopped. He couldn't believe Lance had just said that -he pondered on the possibility of having misheard him- but his voice had sounded so honest and so painfully hurt, he knew there was no way Lance's words weren't true.
