Kion and his friends have taken the next stage of their lives and have started having kids of their own. Kion and Fuli are now married and have 2 cubs called Siku and Nyota. When the cubs are born, Kion and Fuli discover that their cubs will start a new guard to protect the Pridelands and to keep the peace but only one is destined to lead. The new guard will come face to face with challenges that will change their lives and maybe even the fate of the Pridelands. Nyota tries to not come between two brothers who have fallen in love with her and Siku is caught in a forbidden relationship with an Outlander but not just any Outlander.

Will the new guard overcome their challenges and foes or will the sun set before their adventure has even begun?
