One, two, three and UP! I felt Harvey stretch out over the water. Every single muscle to its full limit. His knees tucked up neatly and ears forward. We landed with an 'oof', but raced through the flags. The crowds erupted with cheers of congratulations. I ripped off my helmet and waved to the thousands of spectators. Nothing had ever felt so real in my life until now. I gave my boy a hearty pat as we galloped our victory round... Life as an 18 yr old isn't always the easiest. Finished school, part time jobs and not knowing what will come round the corner next. And not to mention living in New Zealand, it doesnt give you the best links to the equestrian world. But suddenly when Danielle Rinde is given the opportunity to ride for one of the biggest stables in Europe she can't believe any of it. She'll get to ride horses everday, meet some of the most famous names in the equestrian world, compete at the most prestigious shows and best of all make life long friends and family. Will her dream come true or will it all come crashing in around her?

***2nd in Action/Adventure in the Blossom Awards!*** The year is 1126. The place, England. Rowen never really knew who her parents were. All she knew was that someone had left her on the steps of Great Hall; the spies' headquarters in England. Since she had been left there it seemed fitting that she should train there. So she became the first female spy. The years went by but not without their share of trouble. Then disaster happens and it is up to Rowen to face her past and to fix the problems. An army is forming, a man's life hangs in the balance and time is ticking down. While I wouldn't call this a historical fiction there are several people in this story who did actually live. For example, King Henry I did really rule during 1126, and his son really did die in a shipwreck. Brian Boru was an Irish hero who defeated the Vikings at Clontarf. I try to make the real people appear only in name and not actually as a character because I wouldn't want to give you the wrong picture of people who really existed. I hope you like Rowen's story, if something doesn't seem right don't be shy! Tell me what you think is wrong and I will do my best to fix it! Enjoy! *Cover was made by the wonderful jujubok ☺ All pictures are taken from the Internet...
