Bravery

Leila is the editor in chief of her uni newspaper - The Chester Herald. She is one of the most serious girls in school, but will tend to joke around with some humor in her words. One day, she decides that she will be no longer serious and make friends other than the ones she has already.

Harry is a photographer. He and Leila are partners for the newspaper - she writes, he takes pictures. He is also hated by the football team; he is called words such as "fat ass." The words Leila remembers most that he said one day were: "No matter how hard I try to stay invisible, he always sees me."

Liam is a journalist. He is the second best journalist in the school - after Leila. He writes reviews on life, and in a way saves people from themselves. He and Harry are roommates. They are partners in crime along with Zayn. Leila remembers five words he ended his article with once. "I am going to die."

Zayn is the captain of the swim team. He is one of the first friends Leila makes. He smokes sometimes, often getting in trouble but weaseling out of it. He hangs out with Liam and Harry, and writes down sports scores in the newspaper for The Chester Herald.

Louis is the captain of the football team. He is is the sports journalist in the newspaper. He resents Leila and vice versa. They are a good team but refuse to work together when the Herald is in trouble. Louis could care less, Leila cares like there is no other world that she would live in. She remembers he snapped one day: "I could care less about you and this newspaper! I have problems of my own! Leila White, you can't make me care about this."

Niall is the top defender on the football team. He and Louis are partners in crime and he secretly is ADD and dyslexic. He likes Leila and they date for a while and she remembers many of the conversations they had. They had a whole conversation about Harry Potter once - "I swear, Snape was evil!" "No he was just misunderstood! Haven't you seen the movie?"
