So close, yet so far out [destiel]

It's 1967. Castiel Novak is a small musician, and he mostly plays small bars. He hasn't really made a name for himself, but he works hard to. The one thing he wants is to make it big and finally get a taste of real fame.

Dean Winchester is one of the biggest musicians there is. He's well known by almost everyone, and his songs are constantly on the radio. However, this is all too much for Dean. He would much rather be a small musician playing small bars and the occasional venue, but he knows that life is gone, so he tries his best to drown it all out.

When the two meet, the two are both quite envious of the others life. They figure, they might as well try to help each other out, which is easy for Dean. However, it's much more difficult for Castiel to help Dean out, so he helps in other smaller ways, that might just make the two fall for each other.
