This story started in March 2011, in one of the provinces of the tropical country Indonesia.

Miss Jane was a strong, bold, fierce yet kind personality. She did not believe that softness with get you ready to deal with life. She dreamed of becoming a mother to her own kids, yet marriage was out of the options. She had seen too many broken marriages, starting with her own parents. She taught English for professionals, yet had a side hustle of tutoring elementary school students, especially the difficult ones, the ones many other teachers and tutoring institution had given up upon. Pretty tough for a petite woman.

Chia was Miss Jane's friend. She taught Mandarin Language. She owned and lived in the building where Miss Jane and she shared the classroom for their tutoring classes. She had two teenage sons.

Mr Han was a tall, chubby Indonesian Chinese man who came to the province to manage his uncle's business, while at the same time, being the single parent for his son Donny.

Donny, when this story started, was 6.5 year old boy. He was to become the most challenging students Miss Jane had ever encountered in her career.
