Alannah Vallis is the 19 year old daughter of Ethan Vallis; the owner of Vallis hotels which have locations all around the world, meaning that he travels alot. When Alannah became 18 she stopped traveling everywhere with her father and went to stay her grandma in Athens (Mom's mom). Her mother passed away and her grandmother is the only mother figure she has in her life at the moment.
One direction are on a three month break, and decide to spend it together in Athens.
