Balance

They stared into each other's eyes as if trying to solve a complex puzzle with just their emotionless gazes. They payed no mind to that around them, ignoring it like there was nothing more important than that puzzle.

It was a dangerous puzzle they were piecing together, and they knew that. But they both were masterminds, in their own ways, and they knew how to perfectly bend the other's will to their bidding.

It was an unspoken arrangement, and neither bothered to break it, no matter what the other did.

Some might argue, but one could not stay on their feet without the other. They were a balance.
