A New Start

Alexa has been through so much since she was little. Her mother died when she was giving birth to her. Her older sister Jasmine abused her when her dad or older brother Conner were not around, she blamed her for the death of their mother. Bullied by her classmates as well. Alexa felt as if she's not worth anything. She couldn't take it, so she did the only thing she could do..cut. Only her two best-friends knew about this, they eventually told Conner when they couldn't take seeing Alexa in so much pain.The big brother that he is threaten the people in school to back off, eventually they did, including their sister. Everything was okay..for awhile. One night the family were on their way back home from a carnival outside of town, no one notice the other car coming in on them until it was too late..Not only did she loose her sister but her big brother, her hero, Conner.
Three years later, Alexa 15 soon to be 16, she wasn't shy or nerdy, she was outgoing, drinking, partying all hours of the night. It was her way of getting away,forgetting about the past. Her best-friends Kathy & Crystal didn't like this side of her one bit. They knew she had a rough past but stood by her no matter what. Her father had a secret to tell but couldn't tell her because of the accident. He had to tell her sooner that she's a werewolf. When she turns 16 that she will find her mate, but he was also holding another secret back that he couldn't just yet tell her what it was, he had to wait until she turned 16. But what will happen once they move all the way to Minnesota? How will she react to her father’s news? Will she be able to let go of what happened that night? Will she finally let someone in and tell her that everything will get better? Alexa has yet to find out, what she’s really capable of.
