Facing the trials is the hardest thing Natalia and her friends have ever been put through, that they can remember anyway. First it's the Maze, then the Scorch, and lastly they get put in individual rooms that they have no contact with anybody in. She makes friends and enemies, but some enemies turned out to be not so bad after all, when a few friends turned out to be enemies.
