Amanda Beckett liked being left alone. If she was alone, then there would be no one to leave her. Jack Darby just wanted out. Out of the small town of Jasper, out of school, out of all that he had. Miko Nakadai wanted an escape. An escape from the real world and ticket into something more. Rafael Esquivel didn't belong. Didn't belong anywhere but where he could be surrounded by his data. When these four teens are thrown into the world of Autobots and Decepticons, they are inadvertently a part of something more. Once each of them are spotted with an Autobot, the evil Decepticons immediately put a target on their backs, making sure they can never live the way they did again. But can they group together to rise against the Decepticon threat? After getting on the nerves of everyone around her, Miko finds herself being isolated from Team Prime, falling into a depressive spiral the more cut off she becomes. Meanwhile, the Decepticons have recently made contact with Shockwave, who was previously assumed dead. With the unholy scientist back within his ranks, Megatron is eager to employ Shockwave's Predacon research to hunt down the remaining Autobots. As the stars align and Breakdown captures Miko while she's away from the sights of Team Prime, Megatron sees a glorious opportunity to use Shockwave's research to both wage psychological warfare on the Autobots, and to turn Miko into his new loyal weapon. Will the Decepticons finally eclipse the Autobots in this war? Will Team Prime be able to save their human friend turned prehistoric Cybertronian? And does Miko even want to be saved?
