James never once thought that he would spend his senior year of high school in the hospital. Yes, the ENTIRE year. He was diagnosed with cancer nearly a year ago and now it has been decided that he will require longterm inpatient treatment due to his declining health. He still has hope, though. When he arrives at his new home, he finds himself befriending three other patients, and comes to realize that he's not alone and that maybe, just maybe, everything will be okay. No matter what challenges he faces, he WILL NOT give up.
