Isabella Anne Garcia's ex boyfriend happens to be the most popular jock in the school, Dallas Sivan.

Christian Axel is a new kid at their school and instantly gets Isabella's and, her best friend, Alexander's attention.

Alexander, who has secretly loved Isabella for a while, starts to finally develope a crush on someone else while Isabella and Dallas become close again.

Isabella's mom gets a business trip to California.

Isabella and her 3 other friends decide to go too but they have to go by car. So, they make a roadtrip out of it.
