Essie you have lung cancer. Those five words changed Essie's life forever.
Essie is a junior at Smith high school. She's the type of person who always has a smile on her face, but then she gets really sick. She starts coughing, her whole body hurts and she has trouble breathing. Essie pushes the symptoms aside thinking its just a stupid cold she'll get over but she starts getting sicker. By the time she goes to the doctors the cancer is already spreading. With little time left Essie makes a bucket list. With the help of her friends Essie is determined to get it done before she dies.
