"Tate, don't -"
"What is this!?" Tate exclaimed furiously. I tried to keep him from it even as we were growing closer. I had sworn on my life nobody would ever even have the opportunity to know about what he had partaken in. He slammed my book down on the hardwood floor.
"I can't believe you!! You swore, Kennaleigh." Pure rage boiled in his eyes. "I never wanted to do this..." He lurked towards me.

Kennaleigh Lila Higginson, a 19 year-old college student, writes her diary as her life goes on. Soon after school starts, Kennaleigh accidentally walks into something she was never meant to see. Forced into a swear on her life she will never reveal what had happened, she continues to write.

Tate Andrew Carters, a 25 year-old, is a creature like none other. Not a vampire, no. He does however, feed off of human blood. It is the only way he can live. So what happens when Kennaleigh walks up on him feeding? Says not a word, but writes many.
